With hundreds of residents in each building, a lot of trash can be generated in a short time. The facilities unit attends to much of the trash disposal work, with the exception of trash in student rooms.

Regular Custodial Work
Custodial staff work on a seven day per week schedule, with the exception of University Holidays. Work begins at 7:30 AM and continues until 4 PM, with work on the student corridors normally starting only after 9 AM.

Custodial Work Requests
If unscheduled custodial work is needed in your room or a common area, make a request through your building's 24-hour desk. Maintenance staff only respond to written work requests issues by a 24-hours desk.

Pest Control
Insect and other pests are not a major problem in University Residence halls, thanks in large part to the work of the maintenance staff.
