Electrical Appliances in Your Room

You may use small appliances such as radios, televisions, hair dryers, personal computers, toasters, small microwaves, stereos, electric clocks, fans, sealed heating unit coffee makers, and crock pots. Do not overload electrical outlets with adapters or extension cords. Overloading electrical circuits will trip the circuit breakers. You must adjust your electrical usage to avoid tripping the breakers.

Your room is not wired to permit the use of any large electrical appliances such as air conditioners (unless supplied by the University), large refrigerators (over four cubic feet), space heaters, etc.
