Maintenance Work Requests |
Requests for maintenance to rooms and common areas are made through written requests at the specific residence hall's 24-hour desk.
- Maintenance staff will only respond to work requests through a written maintenance work order that is issued by your 24-hour desk.
- If you need repairs or alterations to your room electrical service, plumbing, heating/cooling system, windows, locks or other items (except furniture), complete a maintenance work order at your 24-hour desk.
- A feedback copy of the work order will be left in your room after maintenance has responded. The feedback copy will note that either the work has been completed or the reason staff were unable to complete the work.
- If the work is not completed to your satisfaction, do not file a new work order. Bring the matter to your Hall Coordinator's attention.
- Although most work orders will be responded to within 48 hours, please be aware that during the first two weeks of each semester there may be some delay due to the large volume of work orders during these times.
