| International Crossroads Living-Learning Community |
You're going to Iowa to learn about the world and to meet new people. You want to explore and to embark on exciting adventures. In the International Crossroads Living-Learning Community, you'll live with students who share your global interests.
Both U.S. Students and international students live in this community. They will have the opportunity to broaden their knowledge of international issues, languages, and cultures while living in a close-knit group.
Typical activities include:
- dinners and programs with faculty members and students where global issues are discussed;
- public festivals and celebrations of international holidays;
- international cooking and crafts;
- educational presentations on studying and working in other countries;
- discussions and presentations on a variety of international and cultural topics;
- musical and theatrical performances;
- international film screenings; and
- informal conversations with international visitors to the UI campus.
