Students who choose to live in the Men in Engineering Living-Learning Community aren't the type to sit in their rooms and study all day. They're the men who can juggle being good students with playing sports, volunteering, taking leadership roles in student organizations, and having fun.
Some of the benefits of this living-learning community include:
- course-related study groups and engineering-related programs; and
- the development of life-long friends.
Your floormates will include new students as well as returning engineering students who can be of great help to you as you get started in your engineering career - and learn to balance course work and play.
Since everyone has different skills, you'll be able to help others on your floor with some subjects while they help you with others - a benefit for everyone in the community.
When it's time to take a break, you'll have friends nearby to organize a pickup basketball game, hold a video game tournament, or take in a movie downtown.
