Finding Your Resident Assistant (RA)
Resident assistants (RAs) are sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate students assigned to each floor in the residence halls. For entering students, their RA is often is the most important person in getting settled into campus and residence hall life. As soon as you get a chance, find your RA (usually by hall and then by floor) and introduce yourself.

Getting Around Campus
The University of Iowa campus is large, and depending on your area of study and course schedule, you might get to see quite a bit of it during your first few weeks. As big as it is, though, getting around is fairly easy to manage—either by foot or by Cambus, you can usually get where you need to go in short order.
