The reapplication process in the residence halls is handled through the online Reapply System followed by the Self-Assignment System (SAS). First, you must reapply. Then, in early March, you may self-assign.

Who Can Self-Assign?
Self Assignment is available only to the current residents of the residence halls. The self-assignment process gives first choice to current residents, based on the number of semester hours earned. New students (first-year and transfer) are given assignments only after the Self-Assignment period has ended.

Reapplication Process
This process consists of two parts: (1) reapplication and (2) self-assignment.

Part 1 - Online Reapplication

• Students who are planning on staying in the residence halls for the following academic year must apply online.
• The deadline for Part 1 is 5PM, Tuesday, February 10, 2009.
• Late applicants may not be able to return to the residence halls.

Part 2 - Room and Board Selection

• You will be sent a letter stating that we received your application and notifying you of your initial access time to enter the Self-Assignment System. (March 3 - March 11 depending on number of semester hours earned.)
• You must access SAS to confirm your current room or select a different room.
• You must select and confirm one of the board plans.
• You may use SAS until 5 PM, Friday, April 3, 2009.

Cancellation

• Cancel in writing at Contracts & Assignments, 4141 Burge Hall by the binding date of May 1, 2009.
• After that date, you may only cancel as stated in the terms and conditions of the contract, Section 6.
