Do you love living so close to classes and university buildings? Do you enjoy having laundry, food, and study spaces so close? Do you want to choose the exact residence hall and room you live in for next year? Then you want to reapply to live on with University Housing & Dining again.
Reapplication begins January 30, 2013. You should have received and email on January 22 with information about reapplication; this email provided the date and time of when you can reapply. If you did not receive an email and would like to live on campus again next year, contact University Housing & Dining at 319-335-3000 or visit 4141 Burge.
There is NO APPLICATION FEE or DEPOSIT for returning students. Priority is based on semester hours; this means you choose first! You get to CHOOSE YOUR SPACE; meaning you get to pick the exact room you want to live in next year.
Reapplication for students with 60+ semester hours will apply starting January 30, 2013. Students with 30-59 semester hours start reapp on January 31, 2013. Finally by February 2, 2013 reapplication is open for all students to choose their space. The reapplication portal will remain open until February 15, 2013 at 5pm. You can make changes until February 15 as well as cancel if your plans change.
A confirmation email will be sent February 17, 2013 with your room and meal plan contract. This contract will become binding March 4, 2013. (If you apply, March 4, 2013 will be the last day you can cancel your contract.)
