This community strives to help you become more aware of your strengths and challenges in various areas of well-being; including emotional wellness, healthy relationships, fitness and physical health, and spirituality. You will thrive at Iowa with community support while creating lasting friendships.

All first-year students in this community are required to take the course below. This course fulfills a general education or major requirement and students will be pre-enrolled prior to orientation.

This community is open to all students.

Living Learning Community Courses

Personal health strategies; information and empowerment; application-based work, including creating a family health pedigree or individual health portfolio; discussion of current health ethics topics; subjects may include nutrition, sleep, stress, physical fitness, relationships, injury prevention, prenatal health, vaccination, cancer, infectious diseases, global health, and more.
