This year the Herky C.A.R.E.S. Project has partnered with the Office of Sustainability to expand the Eco Hawks program. This program, formally for all students, faculty, and staff, will now have a specific track for residence hall students called Eco Hawks in the Halls. This three step process will allow residence hall students the opportunity to learn about sustainable practices in the residence halls and ways to get involved in sustainable initiatives around campus and the Iowa City community.
To become an Eco Hawk in the Halls, just follow these 3 easy steps!
#1- Pledge: Complete the Eco Hawk in the Halls Survey (http://bit.ly/EcoHawkInTheHalls) to make a commitment to sustainability and earn an Eco Hawks in the Halls Placard.
#2- Learn: Attend an Eco Hawk in the Halls training session to explore campus-wide sustainability initiatives and earn food and swag items. RSVP HERE to attend one of the two trainings.
