The 2nd Annual Energy Bowl begins October 12 and runs through November 2! This event, sponsored by the Herky C.A.R.E.S. Project, is a hall-to-hall energy waste reduction competition that encourages residents to participate in sustainable practices and attend events, activities, trainings, with the ultimate goal of earning Energy Points for their hall. Each hall will hold its own programming, but two easy ways for students to earn points are to become an Eco Hawk in the Halls (see article in Life@Iowa) and to participate in one of Herky C.A.R.E.S. Project’s Adopt-A-Mug Programs. The next adoption station will be open on October 20th from 11am-1pm in Hillcrest Lobby.
Can your hall beat the reigning champion, Hillcrest Hall?
