Family at Iowa Schedule

Getting ready for Family Weekend here at the University of Iowa? Know all of the events happening on campus! Here are a few highlights:

Magician Nate Staniforth
Head over to the Englert Theatre on Friday, October 30 at 6:30 P.M. or 8:30 P.M. to see Nate Staniforth, host of the Discovery Channel's "Breaking Magic" series and member of the prestigious Band of Magicians. Nate has toured the United States since 2005, bringing his "unplugged" style of magic to over 20,000 people each year at clubs, colleges, universities, and theaters across the country. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in history and religion and, after living in Chicago and Los Angeles, returned to Iowa where he currently lives while not on tour. Your Family Weekend registration fee includes three tickets to Friday night's 6:30pm or 8:30pm show.

Gameday Tailgate
Saturday, October 31at 11:30 am at Field House. Enjoy a typical game day atmosphere by filling your stomachs with a variety of foods and get pumped up by playing traditional tailgating games!
Your registration fee includes three tickets to Saturday morning's Gameday Tailgate held in the Field House near Historic Kinnick Stadium.
Please note that you need to purchase football tickets separately.

Movie Showing
Saturday, October 31 at 10:00 AM, 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 6:00 PM at the Iowa Theater in the Iowa Memorial Union

Concessions are available for just $1!

Academic Open Houses
Saturday, October 31
During the academic open houses, family members and guests get the opportunity to meet faculty, interact with other students, and tour labs and research areas.
A list of all Academic Open Houses will be available soon.
Your registration fee includes three tickets to Saturday's Academic Open Houses.
