What we do:
The Career Leadership Academy is a two part academic credit-bearing program comprised of weekly seminars, activities, and events designed to give students an edge as leaders in their career field of choice. The Academy focuses on developing both leadership and employment skills in undergraduate students and is designed to give students the skills employers are seeking from college graduates: Communication skills, interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and the ability to work well with others. Participants in the Career Leadership Academy will receive three semester hours of academic credit for the Part One and Part Two. In addition, Academy participants will have access to exclusive programs such as career exploration opportunities, networking events, and leadership development experiences. Students entering the Career Leadership Academy must have at least two remaining semesters in order to complete the program.
