Every once in awhile, we’re going to give you some interesting facts about the construction of Madison Street Residence Hall as it progresses. This week, they’ve been pouring concrete for the second floor of the building. We have found out that there will be approximately 1,100 yards of concrete per floor in that structure. That’s 4,400,000 pounds, and it does NOT include the rebar or support beams!! And then you have to take that times 12 floors! It’s a weighty project, that’s for sure!!
