National Nutrition Month


Welcome to National Nutrition Month! University Dining is doing wonderful things to make sure that students live a more nutritious life.

What is National Nutrition Month?
National Nutrition Month® is a nutrition education and information campaign created annually in March by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. The campaign focuses attention on the importance of making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits.

Here is where you can find us on campus in March:
Want some advice from our Nutrition Specialist, Laura Croteau, RD, LD? Lucky for you, she is tabling throughout the month! Here are the dates:

  • Wednesday, March 2: CRWC; Student Health and Wellness Fair; 2:30-6:30
  • Thursday, March 3: Burge during lunch
  • Friday, March 4: Hillcrest during lunch

For a refreshing, healthy snack, head to Power Cafe in the CRWC for a National Nutrition Month Smoothie. Check the week to see which one is promoted:

  • March 1-6: Mojo Gojo
  • March 7-13: Go Green
  • March 14-20: Kale Yeah
