Student Experience in the Research University (SERU) is a campus-wide survey of all degree-seeking undergraduates at the University of Iowa.
The University of Iowa has over 22,000 undergraduates, in more than 100 different fields of study, and we want to know what each of you thinks.
Tell us by taking a survey that lets us hear from all of you -- about your classes, your major, life as a student here, and your overall experience at UI.
SERU provides an extensive overview of the student experience, gathering information on academic and community engagement, experiences in their major, overall satisfaction, and perceived campus climate for diversity. SERU gives the university one more important way to hear from students -- and when we hear from students, everybody benefits.
Your participation is voluntary and confidential. The survey is open to all degree-seeking undergraduates at UI who are age 18 or over.
Students on average take 25-30 minutes to complete the survey. Most students find it easiest to take the survey on a laptop or desktop computer using Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Chrome.
Students who complete the survey will be entered in a weekly prize drawing. Once you complete the survey, your name will be included in each weekly drawing. The sooner you take the survey, the greater your chances of winning!
