STEM Scholars

Light Bulb

Discover and learn through research! This selective program is designed for high ability first-year students pursuing degrees in science, engineering, or mathematics. You will gain the opportunity to take a research seminar, work with a faculty mentor, and receive $500 to present research at a conference. You will further be able to enjoy your experience at Iowa through connecting with new friends in floor competitions, community meals, and campus events. This LLC will not be offered for the 2017-18 Academic Year. We recommend the Honors LLC, BeWISE LLC, People in Engineering LLC, or Health Sciences LLC as alternatives.
