Hillcrest Residence Hall is home to 823 residents and is located on the west side of campus.

Hillcrest hall hosts Hillcrest Market Place and Grand Avenue Market. This hall also has a variety of lounge/study spaces, a fitness center, and is adjacent to the health sciences part of campus.

This hall is undergoing phased renovations to improve student rooms, bathrooms, and hall lounges. Sections undergoing construction will be closed off from student access. Renovations completed for the 2023-24 academic year will be in the south and west wings. All rooms occupied during the 2023-24 academic year have completed updates. Students assigned to the east wing will have limited elevator access after move in.

Restroom types

This hall has single-user and private restroom types.

Single-user

A single-user restroom is a restroom that is designed for one person at a time. As you enter the restroom, you will see a sink, a toilet and a shower for your use, all behind a locking door. Single-user restrooms are open to residents of any gender.

Private

A private restroom has a bathroom with a toilet, sink and shower behind a closed door. This bathroom is used only by the residents of the room and they are responsible for cleaning.
